And cut… ‘Break for 20 minutes.’

I ran from the set to my vanity in a flurry. As per my track record, I was doing well, if I dared say so myself – four brand deals in my pocket and the fifth currently being shot. But being given only 20 minutes for an entire costume change, along with hair and makeup, while scarfing down my lunch, was proving to be a significant challenge. Turning on my Instagram Stories, I panned from top to bottom, showcasing my sparkling outfit. Finally, as I sat down to eat even as my hair was being styled, I saw my makeup artist shooting me a knowing look. I replied, ‘If I have to shine, my route cannot escape the grind’.
