This stole in Pashmina wool and zari in the gorgeous shades of burnt apricot and gold is absolute prettiness!
A Pashmina is synonymous with luxury. It is one of those rarities in the world that will make your heart fall with it at the first glance. The Pashmina is native to Kashmir and has been woven in this region for centuries. It is believed to have had Persian influences before that as the name ’Pasmina’ in Persina means “made from wool’. Every step of crafting a Pashmina is unique and deserves to be celebrated. From collecting the wool from the goat in the moulting season to spinning, weaving and finishing the fabric, every step is carried out by expert craftsmen by hand and it is this mastery of craft that shines in the Pashmina like no other. Unlike other types of wool, the strands collected for Pashmina come from Pashmina goats that shed their mane naturally. It takes 20 to 30 days for 1 Pashmina fabric to be made and the process of making the fabric is truly art by itself. This is probably what brings that regal brilliance to the material that was traditionally part of royal heirloom for centuries! For this stole, a blend of Pashmina and zari has been woven together to create magic that spells luxury! The wool on the weft and the glimmer of zari on the warp of the handloom is a dreamy combination! So, take this priceless art home today and celebrate beauty in its true sense with this gorgeous Pashmina-zari scarf from Suta!

His first brush with kurogoma ice cream had been on a work trip of Japan. It was unlike anything he’d ever tasted before – nutty, salty and sweet at the same time. It had been one of the many reasons he’d come away from that trip a changed man. It was the first time he’d visited a culture completely unlike anything he’d known before. He was amazed by the beauty of the land and stunned by the technology, but what truly changed his life was learning how tradition could hold its own in a world that was already making headway into the future. It made him rethink several truths about his own life. Was tradition just a relic that had no meaning in a rapidly-changing world? Or could he strive for balance and find a middle-ground? He had opted for the latter, and it was a path that taught him new lessons every day.
Restore your balance in this smart pair of black cotton pants.

Good morning sunshine! The Sun must have risen right next to her, in her bed! Her eyes complete her smile. But is there something lurking behind? She renders others speechless with this serpentine print risqué blouse. Check out the incredibly beautiful scales of the Red Spotted Pit Viper and the blouse she wears with so much aplomb is just it. She is clever, crafty, supple and wears the attitude on her sleeves (actually not!) We love it – anything which is a borrowed inspiration from this varied Nature of ours, is worthy of admiration.
Polyester is a synthetically manufactured fabric that is known for its durability and a characteristic texture. The making of this blouse from fabric is an extensive process where our karigars and tailors come together. First, the master tailor makes a pattern on a brown paper for each size. Our karigars then trace this pattern onto the netted fabric of the blouse. This is then secured to a wooden frame for the hand embroidery to be done. Once this is done, the glitter is pasted onto the design and left to dry. When the fabric is finally ready, it goes to the tailors for the final cutting and sewing. And then behold! the magic of the blouse comes alive!

The holy books hailed Sita as a silent pillar of strength. They said she was courageous, loyal and devoted, but would never succumb to adversity. Her serenity was her strength, not a weakness. For no matter the odds, she persevered. Her namesake was only all of five when she’d decided to model herself after the goddess. From an early age, she embraced the essence of calm and poise. She faced trials with unwavering composure, echoing the goddess's grace in adversity. Her serene demeanour inspired those around her, offering solace and hope in the face of uncertainty. Her presence was like a gentle breeze in a storm, her ability to remain unperturbed was a testament to the power of resilience and unwavering faith.

In her imagination, time was a gentle river, flowing in whichever direction she desired. Her thoughts painted vibrant tapestries of colour, emotions swirled like vivid hues on an artist's canvas. She conversed with characters from forgotten stories, and together, they embarked on epic adventures through enchanted forests and starlit galaxies.
In this world, the boundaries of logic and possibility blurred, and she revelled in the sweet release of creativity.

Seeking Saraswati
Blouse: Ta, The model is wearing S size blouse called Rudrani
Her favourite Bangla phrase is “Maa ashchhe.” A phrase that every Bengali pins their hopes on. It embodies the only kind of sweet waiting, and a hint of longing too. For, once Maa leaves, the wait takes time to turn sickly sweet. What were her earliest memories of Durga Puja? She could recollect the days leading up to pujo — bamboos started piling up around street corners, new music albums were released, new clothes were bought and love slowly infected the air. As her home underwent changes in décor, she wondered if the goddess meant more to her mother than her own children? Everybody everywhere prepared for Durga’s arrival as if she was their dearest daughter. But who was her favourite?
It is Saraswati, Maa Durga’s wise daughter. She waits to catch a glimpse of Saraswati in different pandals; they play a strange kind of hide and seek. The goddess is like a cousin with only aspirational qualities and she wants to be like her. She wishes for elegance, poise, knowledge and intellect. But for now, she just wants to seek those qualities.
Seeking Saraswati, our handwoven white and red Mashru saree is perfect for the festive season. Made of fine cotton and silk, this saree can add a tender touch to your look.

I find myself melting into fluid as I give in to the water and readily sink deeper. It is strange that the water doesn’t sweep me away with its ferocity that seems so raw from land. It gently rocks me up and down like I was just born into this world. The water talks to me and it sounds like the voice of an old friend.
This grey cotton slub blouse with hand embroidery is irresistibly beautiful!

Art does not have to be something that we admire from a distance. Especially in our culturally rich country, art has a place in most of the things that surround us and the clothes that we wear are the perfect platforms to showcase our very own identity through art. Indian art forms certainly have enough art forms that you can choose from to tell the world who you are. Among the best of such art forms is the art of embroidery.
The art primarily involves making patterns on fabric by sewing using a needle and various types of threads or beads. Although embroidery has been a part of various cultures across the world, Indian embroidery has always been regarded to be very intricate and exquisite. Our country’s history has shaped the development of embroidery. The art of embroidery is so evolved in our country that almost every state has its own special kind of embroidery today. Although the British rule did cause a setback to handicrafts in India, the resurrection of embroidery after Independence has been remarkable. Intricate embroidery from India is valued world over.
Embroidery work on fabric is very popular and involves a process that consists of various stages. First, various types of popular Indian motifs and artistic designs are first created on paper. These designs are then traced onto the saree or fabric and then the embroidery is done by expert artisans. The art of embroidery is passed down from generation to generation and the nuances of hand embroidery can hardly be matched by machines. Creating art on the canvas of fabrics is definitely something that has an innate beauty that adds a lot of value to apparel.

NOTE: HANDKERCHIEFS CANNOT BE EXCHANGED OR RETURNED
Kerchiefs are deceivingly innocent-looking pieces of fabrics that are slick in their ways. A simple piece of this fabric becomes an heirloom when grandma hand-embroiders your initials on it. It becomes the most romantic poem when a lover drops it only for you to pick it up. It becomes a badge of a mother’s love when she pins it to her child’s uniform. It is such an unassuming piece of fabric that has a way of becoming a part of innumerable stories. If I were to personify the hand-kerchief, I would say that it is a person that jumps into a scene and takes life, never a by-stander. As we launch this collection of buttery soft, eclectic mul hand-kerchiefs, we can’t wait to see how these become part of your lives, your stories. Can you?
